West Orange High School standout Marcus Jackson has been named the Gatorade National Player of the Year, becoming just the sixth New Jersey player to earn the prestigious honor. He joins an elite group that includes Claudio Reyna, Alecko Eskandarian, Brayan Martinez, Heather O'Reilly, and Ransford Gyan, cementing his place among the state's all-time greats.
Jackson anchored West Orange to a 22-2 record and a state championship while recording 18 goals, 5 assists, 10 shutouts, and leading a defense that conceded just 14 goals. A rare two-way center back with elite defending, composure on the ball, and dominance in the air, he's firmly established himself as one of the nation's top prospects.
DIMARIA DOMINANCE.
USYNT standout Maddie DiMaria has once again been crowned the Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year, the highest individual honor awarded to a high school soccer player in the United States. The Cor Jesu Academy star becomes just the second player in history to win the prestigious award twice after leading the Chargers to a perfect 25-0 record and a third straight Missouri state championship. She finished the season with 67 goals and 25 assists, pushing her career total to 142 high school goals and further cementing her legacy as one of the greatest prep players the game has ever seen before heading to North Carolina.
CLASH OF THE CAROLINAS
The best boys and girls high school soccer players from North Carolina and South Carolina went head-to-head in the annual Clash of the Carolinas, showcasing the region's elite talent one final time. Featuring future college standouts and some of the Southeast's top prospects, the all-star event celebrated the next generation of stars before they take the next step in their careers.

New England Revolution II earned a rare opportunity to face the France Men’s National Team in a closed-door training match, helping Les Bleus fine-tune their preparations for the FIFA World Cup. The session gave Revs II players invaluable experience against one of the world’s elite national teams while providing France with a competitive test ahead of the tournament.

KEG CUP KINGS
The Keg Cup delivered exactly what a rivalry should—electric celebrations, two quality finishes, and a post-match keg celebration that took things to another level. Ballard FC claimed bragging rights with a commanding 2-0 victory over the Portland Bangers behind goals from Zach Ramsey and Cianole Nguepissi. From the atmosphere to the final whistle, this derby had everything, cementing the Keg Cup as one of the best rivalry nights in USL League Two.
